Marketing & Social Media Assistant
Let's get to know each other!
I was 13 and the youngest in my class. That’s how my journey to the Land of the Rising Sun began: from the Japanese language classes of the “Angela Hondru” Romanian-Japanese Studies Center, when I was only about 13 years old, to the present day, with a stop at every major point of great interest: from anime and manga, to tea ceremony and traditional Japanese dance and choreography, to the final destination: Japan, which I visited in 2018. And since then, all roads lead to the same place
Today I am part of one of the only dance groups in Romania whose repertoire includes traditional and fusion Japanese choreography, I have an N3 level in Japanese and I study visual arts and restoration, focusing my studies on Japanese paper and its use in restoration processes. I first came to Japan as a student and CSRJ volunteer as part of the 2018 Cultural Program, itinerary which was designed by the Japan by Myself team.
Ironically, only a few years later, I would be part of this team where, as a marketing and social media assistant, I have the opportunity to be actively involved in promoting the image, not only of our team, but also of our passion for the Land of the Rising Sun and how we want everyone to see Japan as it really is: however they want to see it.
